There is a possibility of light to moderate rain or drizzle with thunder and lightning at many places in the state on September 23. There is also a possibility of thunder and lightning and heavy rain at one or two places. The area of heavy rain is mainly likely to be the southern districts of Bastar division. Its possibility is a little less in Bilaspur region.

Naiduniya Representative, Bilaspur. The mood of the weather changed on Sunday. Clouds started appearing in the sky in the morning. As the day progressed, there was intermittent rain. Torwa, Sarkanda, Mangala, Old Bus Stand and Tifra area received light rain. Youngsters were seen enjoying the rain by getting wet on the road. The sun also shone. Suddenly cold winds started blowing in the evening. A moment of relief was found amidst the heat and humidity.
Bilaspur was impressed by this weather. There was no rain in the capital for the last five days. The heat and humidity had started increasing. The maximum temperature reached around 35 degrees Celsius. On Sunday morning, clouds of relief were seen in the sky. After 10 am, drizzle was recorded in some areas of the city and light rain was recorded in some areas.
Mainly Torwa Power House, Rajkishore Nagar, Hemu Nagar received rain. In the afternoon, it rained in Old Bus Stand, Gandhi Chowk area as well as Sarkanda, Mangala. In the evening, drizzle occurred in Tifra and other places. Which made the weather pleasant. Due to the cold winds, people got relief from heat and humidity. If the weather department is to be believed, such conditions are expected to remain for the next five days.
A low pressure area formed over the Bay of Bengal
Meteorologist Dr. HP Chandra says that one upper air cyclonic circulation is located over south coastal Myanmar and the other upper air cyclonic circulation is located over west-central Bay of Bengal and both of these are extended up to the middle troposphere. Due to its effect, a low pressure area is likely to form in and around the west-central Bay of Bengal in the next 24 hours. A trough is located from Andhra Pradesh to south coastal Myanmar. The monsoon trough is located at mean sea level up to west-central Bay of Bengal.
