Rakhi, the popular actress of the 90s, participated in the 55th International Film Festival of India being held in Goa. Here, while talking to ANI, Rakhi shared her excitement about the film Karan-Arjun returning to the theaters after 30 years. He said, “The young generation will really like this film and small children will also enjoy it a lot.” Rakhi played the role of Durga Singh in the 1995 blockbuster Karan Arjun.
Karan-Arjun collected so much after re-release
Karan Arjun released in theaters on 22 November. While talking to News 18, Rakesh Roshan said, I had worked with Rakhi in 4 to 5 films. So when I went to him with the film offer, he accepted it because Shahrukh and Salman Khan were much younger than him. The action drama had a good opening of Rs 25 lakh at the box office. On the second day the movie collected Rs 40 lakh. The total collection of Karan-Arjun crossed Rs 1 crore with the weekend earning of Rs 43 lakh.
