Raipur. A young man has been murdered in Marine Drive, Raipur. The young man was a driver in Ambikapur Collector’s Office. Three unknown bike-borne robbers stabbed and killed Ambikapur resident Ishwar Rajwada in a dispute over mobile robbery. The young man had come to Raipur with an officer for some official work.
All three unknown bike-borne robbers fled. Telibandha police station is investigating the case. According to information received from the police, the incident took place at around 12.30 in the night. Ishwar Rajwade’s nephew is a driver in Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, he had gone to meet him. At night he had come to visit Marine Drive on Activa.
During this time, 3 miscreants came on a bike. They tried to rob his mobile. When Ishwar resisted, the accused attacked him with a knife. He was injured in the stomach, hands and other parts of the body. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot. He was taken to Mekahara for treatment. Where he died.
The police is trying to identify the accused on the basis of CCTV footage installed nearby. No clue has been found so far. Criminals often use stolen vehicles in the crime.
