Raipur. CG Breaking: Emergency landing of Nagpur-Kolkata Indigo flight was done at Raipur airport. This emergency landing was done after receiving information about a bomb in the flight. Along with emergency landing at Raipur Airport, security related measures were implemented with immediate effect.
CG Breaking: Raipur Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh said that after receiving the bomb threat, 187 passengers and 6 crew members were immediately landed at the airport and mandatory security checks were conducted.
CG Breaking: Security arrangements have been tightened. The bomb disposal squad was called. All passengers were evacuated from the flight safely. After immediately evacuating the plane, officers and employees of security agencies are investigating the flight.
CG Breaking: All the passengers on board the plane have been declared safe, however, after this incident, flights were affected for some time at Raipur Airport. Investigation of the plane is going on regarding safety.
