Bilaspur. The accused and the buyer of the theft in the hostel of SIMS hospital have been arrested by the City Kotwali police from Raipur. After committing the crime, the accused fled with two mobile phones, two iPads and a pencil. The incident took place late night on 28 August.
According to the police, Dr. Saket Suman had lodged a complaint that someone had stolen a mobile phone, two iPads and a pencil from the hostel room located in the hospital campus. The victim lodged a complaint about the incident that took place on August 28 at the City Kotwali police station on August 29. After registering a crime in the matter, the police investigated and found that the stolen mobile was active in Tarpongi village of Raipur. The team of City Kotwali police reached Tarpongi while tracking the location of the mobile and on the basis of tower dump locator, the police took the accused Yashwant Gond into custody. During interrogation, the accused told that he lived in Jabdapara and when he reached SIMS on the night of August 28, he saw a party going on in the hostel. Taking advantage of the party, he entered the hostel. Getting a chance, he stole two mobile phones, two iPads and a pencil from the room and came to Raipur. In Raipur, he sold the stolen mobile and other items to his friend Manish Yadav (24), resident of Tarpongi. City Kotwali police is taking further action by confiscating the stolen items from the arrested accused and presenting them in the court.
Police arrested four accused of stabbing
In village Lokhari of Sakri area, more than half a dozen people attacked a person with sword and stick and injured him for not giving hotel goods. On receiving complaint in the case, Sakri police has arrested four accused and taken a juvenile in custody. Police is taking further action after presenting the accused in the court.
Lokhari resident Dilip Nirmalkar (30) had lodged a complaint in Sakri police station on September 10. Victim Dilip Nirmalkar said that at around 10:45 pm three boys arrived home on an Activa and started knocking on the door loudly. When Dilip’s father Rajkumar Nirmalkar opened the door and came out, the accused started demanding hotel items from him. When he refused to give the items as it was night, the accused abused and first attacked Rajkumar Nirmalkar and then Dilip Nirmalkar who came to intervene with a sword and a stick and fled. The victim said that during the incident, other friends of the youth also reached the spot armed and joined the fight. Sakri police have arrested four accused from Dhuripara Mangala area after the complaint. The arrested accused included Rahul Yadav (20), Rahul Patel (19), Om Kaleshwar alias Godala (22), Akash Rajak (20) and a teenager. Sword and bike have been seized from the accused.
