bhool bhulaiyaa 3 movie review: The current year is of horror comedy. After the success of Shaitan, Munjya and Stree 2, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has made its debut. This time the message of this horror comedy genre film has become full and the film has also got the support of the original Manjulika i.e. Vidya Balan. Not only this, Madhuri Dixit also joins the film right after the interval and the story which was going on cumbersome till the interval becomes interesting only after the interval and at the end the climax of the film not only makes you emotional but also shocks you. This film can be watched once for both these actresses.
It is a story of rebirth!
The story of the film begins from Raktoghat in Bengal. Where a girl is dancing on the song Aami Je Tomar in a palace, then the king and his soldiers come and burn the girl alive and the story moves forward 200 years and reaches Rooh Baba aka Ruhaan (Karthik Aryan) . Like the previous franchise, here too Rooh Baba is cheating people in the name of exorcising ghosts. In the story, Meera (Trupti Dimri) enters, who is a royal descendant of the same Raktoghat. She lures Rooh Baba with money and takes her to Raktoghat. She asks him to leave because her family is troubled by Manjulika's scary spirit. Due to the fear of Manjulika, they have left the palace and are living a life of poverty in the stables. Although Meera knows that Rooh Baba is a fraud, but her purpose of bringing Rooh Baba to the palace is something else. Actually, Rooh Baba's appearance is similar to that of Manjulika. Meets brother and royal prince Devendra. Rajpurohit (Manish Wadhwa) believes that the prince has been reborn, through which he can be freed from the cursed soul of Manjulika. He believes that Rooh Baba is the reincarnation of the prince, meanwhile the story takes such a turn that Mallika (Vidya Balan) and Mandira (Madhuri Dixit) enter in the interval and strange incidents begin. The voices of the soul imprisoned behind the closed door also become louder. Which of the two is Manjulika? Is there any connection between these two? Was Prince Devendra the reason for whatever happened in Raktoghat palace 200 years ago? The film answers all these questions in its climax.
Advantages and disadvantages of the film
The first half of the film is weak. A little too much time has been taken to establish the story and characters. At times, it even starts testing your patience. In the second half, the story picks up pace and returns to the track of entertainment. The twist and drama associated with the last thirty minutes of the film shakes your mind in such a way that you are not disappointed with the film in the end. There is no doubt that the film has not been able to answer some questions, but it is wise not to think too much while watching the film. The director of the film is Anees Bazmee, who is known for his comedy films, but That color of comedy has not been established in Bhulaiyaa 3. Many dialogues seem to be trying to force laughs. The cinematography of the film does justice to the subject. VFX enhance the element of horror. Talking about the song music of the film, except for the songs Aami Je Tomar and Hare Ram Hare Krishna, the new song music of the film does not appeal.
Vidya and Madhuri have added color
Karthik Aryan is seen in the familiar style of Rooh Baba. He has been excellent in the climax of the film. This cannot be denied. Vidya Balan is a great actress. His forte has been to assimilate the characters. She has played Manjulika before also. This time, despite the weak story, he has added a different color to the film with his acting. Madhuri Dixit has also given support to the film with her mature acting. Seeing him in gray shades on the big screen is a different experience. The face off dance of both the actresses is one of the high lights of the film. Trupti Dimri has been seen in films for some time just to dance and romance with the hero. There was nothing special for him to do in this film too. The rest of the characters definitely do justice to the film, but the presence of Sanjay Mishra and Rajpal Yadav has not been able to do anything memorable this time.
