First day of college True Friendship Story

True Friendship Story: Today was Sachin's first day in college. Sachin's parents had died in an accident. His uncle raised him.

Sachin was very fast in studies. Therefore, he kept getting scholarship which covered the cost of his studies. When Sachin reached college, he saw that the atmosphere there was different. No one was paying attention to reading. Everyone was busy having fun. Expensive clothes, bikes, cars. This world was different.

Sachin avoided all this and reached his class. It was fun there too. Sachin was very excited about his new books. He took out the book and sat down to read.

Then a boy whose name was Mohit. Came to him.

Bewitched: Hey brother, which world have you come from? Sat down to study on the very first day of college. Everyone here is having fun, you should too.

When Sachin did not give any answer, Mohit got angry. He snatched Sachin's book and threw it out. Sachin did not say anything, he got up, picked up his book lying in the corridor and sat under a tree in the garden outside and started reading.

Mohit and his friends were watching him from a distance.

Bewitched: He turns out to be a big nerd, let's teach him a lesson.

Everyone reaches Sachin. They snatch the book from him. Sachin gets angry after seeing this. He asks him to return his book. But they do not agree and throw the book towards each other.

Then from a distance a boy who probably looked like a senior appeared. He was of strong physique and his name was Amar. He came running there and said –

Immortal: Why, you all have come to college today and have considered college as your father's house. Why are you disturbing it? Let me tell you how to crawl.

Hearing this, everyone gets scared and starts leaving from there silently. Amar takes the book from him and gives it to Sachin.

Immortal: You are too straightforward, this won't work. Well don't be afraid, they won't bother you anymore. My name is Amar, if anyone says anything to you then let me know.

Sachin: Thank you brother. I have come here to study but there is no study environment here.

Immortal: Today is the first day, anyway it will continue like this for fifteen days. Studies will start properly only after completion of admission. You too have fun and read it later.

Sachin: No Amar, I have a lot of responsibility. I don't have parents. Somehow I am staying at my uncle's house. I want to become something as soon as possible. If I had not got the scholarship, I would never have been able to come to college.

Hearing this, Amar came to know about Sachin's truth and said –

Immortal: From today you are my friend. If you have any problem, let me know. Study diligently, you will definitely succeed.

When Sachin came home in the evening, uncle asked –

Uncle: Son, how was your first day of college?

Aunt: How would it be, we go to college just to have fun, spend our uncle's money.

Aunty did not like Sachin. She always kept taunting him. She would get the entire household work done by Sachin. Even though she would order food from outside, she would still give him half her stomach to eat.

After listening to him Sachin said –

Sachin: No aunty, I was studying the whole day.

Aunt: I don't care whether you read or not. Get educated and find a job as soon as possible and leave us.

Uncle: Shut up, the poor guy does so much work. How badly you treat him in return.

Aunt: So why is he lying here? Why don't you go somewhere?

Uncle: The day it stands on its feet it will go away. Will not be here to listen to your burning.

From there, Sachin silently goes to his room and sits in front of his parents' photos and starts crying. If only his parents were alive then he would not have had to see all this.

The next day Sachin was sitting under the same tree in college. Today he did not feel like studying at all. Just then Amar comes there.

Immortal: What's the matter, Sachin is not studying at all today.

Sachin: Amar tells yesterday's things to Amar.

Immortal: I live here in the hostel. If you want, you can come and stay with me.

One winter night, Sachin was going home from coaching. He was crossing the deserted road. Then suddenly a car came at high speed and before Sachin could understand anything, the car hit him and went ahead and stopped. But within some time she left from there. Sachin was lying unconscious on the road. Then someone called the police and the police took him to the hospital.

Sachin's head was badly injured. When Amar came to know about this, he reached the hospital with some of his friends and Sachin's uncle was sitting on a bench outside.

Uncle: Son Sachin has suffered serious head injuries and one of his legs is broken. Don't know what's in store for this poor guy. A similar incident happened with his parents.

Immortal: Uncle, don't worry. We will all take care of Sachin, you go home.

Amar went aside and talked to his friends. From that day Amar and his friends started taking care of Sachin. Sachin started recovering within a few days. But his leg was in plaster for a long time.

Sachin: Amar, you have done a lot for me. How will I repay this favor?

Immortal: Shut up, you are my younger brother. Don't worry.

Sachin got leave in a few days and Amar took him with him to his hostel. Kept taking care of her. Within a few months, Sachin gradually became able to walk.

The bad times had passed. He again started teaching in coaching. Now he used to stay in the hostel with Amar and sometimes go to meet uncle and aunt. He used to give them some money every time.

Time was passing like this. Sachin's studies were completed, Amar had already completed his studies and was working in a company. At the same time, he also got Sachin employed.

One day Sachin came to know that his uncle was very ill. He went to meet them.

Sachin: Aunty, come on, I will take you to the hospital, there you will be treated well.

Uncle: No son, the doctors have given the answer. Now I am a guest for a few days. But I wonder what will happen to your aunt after me. We don't have any children. You can do one thing for her, after my death, send her to an old age home.

Hearing this, aunty sat near uncle's feet and started crying.

Sachin: How do you talk uncle, I am not your son, you and aunty will stay with me all my life.

Sachin brings both of them to his home. After a few days the uncle dies. Sachin completes his last rites. After a few days his aunt says –

Aunt: Son, leave me in the old age home and I am not worthy of you keeping me in your house.

Sachin: Aunty I have always considered you my mother. You will always be with me. I had promised uncle. You have every right to be with your son.

Hearing this, aunty started crying and hugged Sachin.

Sachin's life changed after having Amar as his elder brother. Only the lucky ones get such a friend who ends all their problems.
