Our saliva contains a type of enzyme called “amylase”, which breaks down carbohydrates, so that the entire load does not fall on the digestive system. Thus, it also prevents overeating and activates the digestive fire, so that the food items are completely digested. There is no feeling of bloating and heaviness.
2. Combine Carbohydrates with Green Vegetables
Include carbohydrates in your diet by combining them with green leafy vegetables. Green leafy vegetables increase the quality of fiber in the diet, as well as balance meals while reducing the impact of the glycemic index. Green vegetables remove the build up that occurs in the body due to carbs.

4. Try having carbs at lunch instead of dinner
Your digestive fire is most active during lunch time, so this time is considered best for digesting carbs. When you consume carbs and other heavy foods during the day, your body is able to digest it completely. During this time you do not feel heaviness and other digestive discomforts. Whereas if you take carbs in the evening, you may find it difficult to digest it.
5. Try to keep yourself active for some time before and after eating.
Try to keep yourself active for some time before consuming carbs as well as after eating them. By doing this your metabolism increases, so that your body can handle carbs more effectively.
