A small bundle Story of Maa Durga in Hindi

Maa Durga Ki Kahani in Hindi: In a village, a Seth ji had a shop of gold and silver jewellery. Seth ji had two sons, Kishan and Paras. Seth ji's elder son Kishan used to handle the entire business.

Paras was a great devotee of Mother Bhagwati. He was of straightforward nature. He was not interested in business.

One day Seth ji and Kishan had to go to the city. Therefore, he gave the responsibility of managing the shop to Paras. Shortly after his departure, an old mother came to the shop and said to Paras, “Son, my daughter is very ill. I have this ring. You buy this.”

Then Paras took out some money and gave it to the old lady and said, “Get her treated with this money. If you need more money, let me know.” In this way, he gave her the money without buying the ring.

When Seth ji and Kishan returned in the evening, Paras told them the whole story. Then Seth ji said.

“Hey fool, this is our business. The villagers sell us jewelery in times of distress. Which we buy at low prices and sell them in the city at higher prices. If you sit at the shop for a few more days, you will make us poor. Don't come to the shop from tomorrow.

Saying this, Seth ji threw Paras out of the shop.

He got scolded a lot at home even at night. At home, Kishan's wife told Paras, “If you had been earning, it would have been nothing and you had spent whatever money you had to earn in the shop.”

Hearing this, Paras and his wife Radha felt very bad. Then Paras said, “Sister-in-law, we do not lack anything.” Everything is with the blessings of Mother Bhagwati. We should help more people.

Then Kishan said, “When you earn money through hard work, then spend it on the poor, but you have no right on our money, we get food in this house.” This is enough for you.

Radha felt very bad about this. There were tears in the eyes of both of them.

Next day Paras was going somewhere in the village. Then he found the old mother there. Seeing her, Paras asked her, Monji, how is your daughter. then he said

“Son, because of you my daughter's life was saved.” Paras was very happy.

Then the old mother said, “Son, because of helping me, you had to listen to a lot.” Then Paras said, “Maji, how did you know all this?”

The old lady said, “I know everything, that is why your father and brother removed you from the shop.” But don't worry, Navratri is starting from tomorrow, both of you, husband and wife, observe the fast of Maa Durga's Navratri with a pair of long and also recite Durga Saptashati, once it is completed, all your bad deeds will be done.

Paras and Radha did the same. He started fasting during Navratri without taking food and started fasting only with a pair of longa. Also recited Durga Saptashati every day.

One day Paras and Radha were sitting in the temple and reciting Durga Saptashati. Then a little girl came to them and said

“You know me?” Paras said, “No daughter, I don’t know you.”

Then the girl said, “I am the one whose life you saved by giving money.” When Paras asked about Monji, he told, “He is at home.” I have come to you to listen to Durga Saptashati.

Paras and Radha were very surprised. A little girl has come to listen to Durga Saptashati. Paras started reciting Durga Saptashati. When the recitation was completed, the girl gave a bundle to Paras and started leaving. Paras refused but she did not agree. After she left, Paras saw that there were jowar in that bundle.

Paras kept it. The same thing happened the next day, the girl came and listened to a chapter of Durgasaptashati, after which she gave a small bundle and went away.

Eight days passed like this. On the eighth day when the recitation of Durga Saptashati was completed. So the girl gave the bundle and started leaving. Paras said daughter where is your house. We will come to meet you. Then the girl said, both of you come here tomorrow, I will meet you here.

On the ninth day of Navratri, Paras and Radha made Prasad of Maa and went to the temple and worshipped. After worshiping, both of them started searching for the girl but she was nowhere to be seen.

After some time, both of them stood in front of the idol of Maa Bhagwati and started meditating on Maa Bhagwati. Then he saw the same old mother in the form of the idol of Maa Bhagwati and after some time she changed her form and started appearing as the same little girl.

Seeing this, tears started flowing from the eyes of Paras and Radha. He sat at mother's feet. When everyone asked the reason for their crying, both of them told that mother herself had come to help them. Every day Durga used to listen to Saptashati in the form of a girl. And we couldn't even recognize them. Everyone was very surprised and people started cheering for Maa in the temple.

When Paras and Radha came home and went to their room. Then he saw the bundles that mother had given him. All his jowars became gold. And the more she took them out, the more they became filled. When the family members came to know about it, they all apologized to him.

With mother's blessings, Paras started gold business and started worshiping mother day and night.
