Price of laziness Laziness Story for Kids in Hindi

Laziness Story for Kids in Hindi: It was 12 o'clock in the day. But Sohan was still sleeping. His mother Sumitra called out.

Sumitra: Get up son, see the sun has risen on your head, how long will you keep sleeping?

But there was no effect on Sohan, he covered his face with a sheet and went to sleep again.

After some time he started smelling the food. As soon as the lentils are tempered. He started feeling very hungry. Sohan got up and went straight to his mother in the kitchen.

Sohan: Mother, what have you made?

Sumitra: First go and take a bath. Then come to the kitchen. Have prepared pulses and rice.

Sohan liked pulses and rice very much. He quickly went into the courtyard and started filling the bucket with the hand pump. Meanwhile he remembered that he had not even brushed his teeth. He quickly took toothpaste and rubbed his teeth and then took soap and sat down to take bath. After quickly taking bath, wearing clothes, I reached the kitchen.

By then the food was ready. Mother served the food. The food was very tasty. Sohan ate a full meal. When he woke up after eating, his mother interrupted him –

Sumitra: Where have you gone now?

Sohan: Mother, I feel like I have eaten too much food, I am feeling very sleepy, I am going to sleep.

Sumitra: Oh God, I woke up just an hour ago. All you have to do all day is wake up, eat and sleep. You know how hard your father works in the fields so that we get two meals a day. If nothing else, go and help them. Take food for them, I am preparing it now.

It was as if a mountain of sorrows fell on Sohan.

Sohan: Mother, do you know that once before I had gone to give food in such hot weather? He fell so ill after coming back. You go, I am going to sleep.

Sumitra got very angry. Before she could say anything, Sohan quickly went to his room and fell asleep.

Sumitra reached the farm with food. Kabirdas was plowing the fields with great effort.

Sumitra: Listen, you should have eaten first.

Kabirdas: Hey, why do you bother in such hot weather? You should have sent the food with Sohan's hand.

Sumitra: Our fortunes have been ruined. Got such a lazy son. Just eats and sleeps. God knows what will happen to this boy?

Kabirdas: Don't worry, one day everything will be fine.

Sohan's parents were very upset with Sohan's habit. He did not do any work. Just kept sleeping all day and night.

One day Sohan's father said –

Kabirdas: Son, I am going to the city to buy fertilizer and urea. It will take two days. The crop is about to be ready, you go to the field in the morning and stay there the whole day. After having dinner in the evening, go to sleep there at night, lest any animal enter the field or someone else harms our crop.

Sohan: Father, I will not be able to do all this. You tell your mother.

Kabirdas: It is the job of men to look after the uncultivated farm. If I find out you did not go to the farm. Or if the crop gets damaged then you are in no trouble.

Sohan got scared. After his father left he said to his mother –

Sohan: Mother, please wake me up in the morning, otherwise I don't know what father will do.

Sumitra wakes up Mohan at four in the morning.

Sohan reaches the field with a shovel in his hand. He went there and saw that cold wind was blowing all around. He sits under a tree. Then he sees a faint light. The entire field is filled with red light. Sohan had seen all this for the first time. He kept watching everything with surprise and after some time the sun started rising. Sohan was very surprised to see this.

Within some time all the villagers came to work in the fields. Everyone was working on their own fields. Sohan was sitting under the tree. Just then Madho Kaka came from the nearby farm.

Madho Kaka: Sohan, my field got flooded, now you cut the water in your field.

Sohan: Uncle, I don't know anything, father never told me all this.

Madho Kaka: If the son has ever come to the farm with his father, you would know.

Madho Kaka called his son and directed the water towards Sohan's field.

Madho Kaka: Let us know when the entire field is filled.

Sohan sat and watched. But due to waking up early in the morning he fell asleep. The field was heavily flooded.

Just then Madho Kaka came running.

Madho Kaka: The worthless person had come here to sleep. All the hard work of his father was ruined and his entire crop was destroyed.

Sohan woke up in a panic. His field was filled to the brim with water. Madho Kaka quickly cut the water to the other side. By that time it was too late. Almost half the crop was damaged.

Sohan: Uncle, can't anything happen now?

Madho Kaka: No son, one has to take care of the ready crop like a child. Watering, fertilizing on time, protecting from animals. That is why we stay on the farm day and night.

Now God is the master.

Sohan kept crying sitting under the tree.

Sumitra brought food in the afternoon. When he came to know everything, he also told Sohan a lot.

Sohan did not come home in the evening nor did he eat food, his hunger, thirst and sleep were all gone.

Next day when Kabirdas returned home, he asked about Sohan –

Sumitra told the whole thing.

Kabirdas left everything and ran to the fields. He saw Mohan sitting under a tree and crying. Half the crop had been damaged.

Sohan: Father, please forgive me because my laziness has caused such a huge loss. Beat me if you want.

Kabirdas: No, the crop will not recover by killing you. Promise that you will never be lazy from today onwards. Now let's go home and we will talk there.

Both of them come home.

Tears were still flowing from Sohan's eyes.

Sumitra gave him food. But he did not eat and went to his room and started crying.

Sumitra: Yes, what will happen now, half the crop has been ruined.

Kabirdas: Sumitra is not a losing deal. If the son improves by giving him half the crop then that is enough.

Kabirdas called Sohan –

Kabirdas: Son, now the loss was about to happen and it has happened. Now we will have to uproot half the crop from the field and sow it again from tomorrow.

Sohan: Father, you apply fertilizer and urea in the remaining half of the field and make arrangements to harvest it. I want to work on this alone.

The next day at four in the morning Sohan reached the farm with his father. And as per his father's instructions he started working on the farm.

After four months of hard work. The new crop started growing somewhat.

Sohan had now become a diligent and hard-working person.
