Actor Tahir Raj Bhasin is garnering a lot of applause in the role of Vikrant in this series. For the first time in his career, Tahir is associated with the second season of a project. He hopes that the audience will like this show further so that more seasons will come. Conversation with Urmila Kori
Actors have to be thick skinned
If the first season is successful, the pressure for the second season increases. There is pressure on me too but it is a good pressure. Well, pressure means that the audience is expecting a lot and they will see it. Well, actors have to be thick skinned. They are aware that some people may like it, some people will think it is no better than the previous one. An artist has to be prepared for this.
it took time to write the story
The reason for the long gap between the last season and this season is the story. I am very proud of director Siddharth because he took time to write this season. Only if you invest time in the script, a good series can be made. Everyone is curious to know what will happen and actors also go through this, whatever we post on social media before the release. People keep asking us when the second season is coming. It's not like shooting a reel. The story takes some time and we had to keep its level higher this time.
Didn't watch the last season
The interesting thing for me in Season 2 was that Vikrant's character was questioned a lot this time. Where did the girl go? So after reading the script I thought it would be interesting that I don't watch Season 1 before shooting Season 2. This will also become a memory for me from two years ago, due to which when a lot of questions will be asked during the shooting of Season 2, you will not remember half of it, which will also strengthen the character.
Shweta is my favorite on the set
I interact well with everyone on the set of this series, but about Shweta Tripathi I would say that she is one of my favorite people on this set. She really likes the work we are doing. You can feel her energy on the set. Sometimes she just smiles and everything seems perfect. There is so much positivity in her.
Perspective changed after Covid
The words actors and competitors are related, as far as my perspective on competition is concerned, I believe that horses run in a race and we are actors. In this city you will be sitting at home and there will be three people doing better than you and seven people who are not doing better than you. To survive you have to be happy where you are. Especially after Covid, I am happy with what I am doing. Covid gave a different perspective on life and work.
I get involved only in fewer projects
In my career so far, I have done only a few projects. I believe in quality over quantity, but the journey to join it is not easy. Before that you have to say no to many projects. It is very difficult because it also comes with pressure. Because the audience is watching you after a certain time and they want to see something good from you. I always see certain actors on movie posters whether it is Hollywood or Bollywood and I know whether the movie will be good or not. I hope to give the audience the confidence that if Tahir is there, the film or this series will be worth watching.
